Kep is slowly making a comeback. Before the Khmer Rouge. What has become a quiet town used to be a famous holiday spot for Cambodia’s wealthy elite who owned lush villas along the coast. All this was destroyed during the conflict leaving behind ruins and memories.
There are a couple of things to do in Kep like a visit to the Rabbit Island or The crab market for a hearty seafood meal. Our favourite being Kimly Restaurant.
We spent a quiet time relaxing by the pool and taking occasional dips in the sea while sipping on Fashion Passion, a mocktail we were totally hooked to and enjoys beautiful sunsets at the end of the day . We really enjoyed our three days stay at Knai Bang Chatt and we are definitely looking forward to our next visit.
