Genoa is the capital of the region of Liguria, the sixth largest city in Italy. One of Europe’s largest cities on the Mediterranean sea with the largest seaport in Italy and home to Europe’s second biggest aquarium. It is also known for its delicious “Pesto Genovese”.

This was my first time in Genova and it is such a pity we didn’t have enough time to explore around. If you only have a few hours to spend in Genova, the least you can do is enjoy a beautiful promenade along the old habour [Porto Antico] and take a few minutes to admire La Piazza Raffaele Ferrari.
