We are back in Phnom Penh. We spent 4 beautiful days exploring the land of Angkor temples and I can’t wait to share our amazing experience.
We flew Cambodia Bayon airlines for the first time. For those who don’t know about Cambodia Bayon airlines, it is a Cambodian domestic airline which commenced operations in December 2014 and has daily flights between Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville as well as direct flights from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville on weekends. All this at very competitive prices. The flight was right on schedule, flight attendants were quite friendly and helpful.
We paid $50 per person and this included a free snack and complementary drink. In-flight magazine is available on all flights. For those travelling to Sihanoukville International Airport, a free shuttle service is offered, bringing flight guests from and to the city center.
Cambodian Bayon airlines is relatively new in Cambodian airspace and like most cautious travellers we had our doubts but we are also happy to say we had a good experience. And honestly it was the best option compared to driving 7 ridiculous hours to Siem Reap. If you ever wish to fly Cambodian Bayon airlines here is there flight schedule as per this month.
