EXPAT IN THE PHILIPPINES | OVERLOOKING TAGAYTAY CHALET IN TAGAYTAY, PHILIPPINES.

I just came back from a blissful weekend getaway in Tagaytay. It was relaxing being away from the hustle and bustle city. What I loved most about Tagaytay is its cool temperature and green scenery.After scouring the Internet for hours, and combing through reviews, we settled for Overlooking Tagaytay chalet as our home away from home. This was also our first time using Airbnb. I know, I know, shame on us!

The chalet stands as pretty as a painting amidst the thickest of nature lending a spectacular view of lake Taal and volcano. Its charming interior conforms to a rustic theme with varying undertones and textures, creating that cozy countryside exuberance that puts even the most active mind at ease. I enjoyed waking up to the sounds of birds singing their morning tunes, while my son marveled at the sight of colorful butterflies.Overlooking Tagaytay Chalet is a well-equipped self-catering accommodation making your vacation as homely as possible. Remember to bring your own toiletries, mosquito repellant and enough entertainment for those travelling with kids.

As a side note, there are steep steps leading to the chalet that gives your hamstrings a good workout. Mine are still singing oh la la. If you have knee problems or being accompanied by elderly people who need assistance please bear this little detail in mind.

Finally, I would like to give a quick shout out to Fely, the caretaker of Overlooking Tagaytay Chalet. Fely is lovely, and she was always an SMS away whenever we needed anything. Thank You so much Fely for being the perfect hostess.I absolutely fell in love with Overlooking Tagaytay Chalet and can’t wait to go back.
