Located in Pescia in the Tuscany region, it’s the ideal base for visiting Lucca, Pisa, and Florence–a peaceful oasis to hide out and unwind after city hopping.

The villa is stunning. It’s tastefully decorated in vintage Italian style. I particularly fell in love with its apartment room–overlooking the Tuscany rolling hills–composed of a big living room, a dining area, and a rustic bedroom.

Gianpaolo and his lovely wife Paula are amazing hosts. Their hospitality is unbeatable. They’re ever accessible and helpful may guests need help on things to do around.

Behind the villa is a pleasant saltwater swimming pool where guests can waste the day away. It’s definitely a plus for families traveling with young children.Villa Colle Olivi has a little shop on site where I grabbed this fine bottle of Rigoloccio Rosé. It’s fresh, floral, and light and pairs perfectly with warm summer days.
