My name is Laura. I am Kenyan currently based in the Philippines with my family.

I am a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Full Time Mother and the Editor and Content Creator of Lora By Lora, a Travel and Lifestyle Blog.

I am passionate yoga practitioner and a Certified Vinyasa Yoga teacher. I have been practicing yoga since 2010 and my dream of becoming a yoga teacher came within reach after we moved to the Philippines in 2016. Stars aligned, and I eventually enrolled in the 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in Yoga+ Makati, Philippines in 2017.

I have a total experience of four years in this field with a Registered Yoga Teacher Certification (RYT) from a Yoga Alliance (YA) recognized institute. I posses sound knowledge about yoga movement, postures and proper alignment.

I love and share yoga wholeheartedly. Its benefits extend beyond the physical aspect. Yoga complements our fitness routine and help us be strong, flexible, and toned. Yoga poses and transitions require us to be mindful and fully present. Practicing mindfulness on or off the mat allows us to align our thoughts with our actions. It allows us to take a break from our autopilot way of living and fully tune in to body and mind. There is so much more we can learn through yoga poses and how we can apply these lessons in our lives.

Through sharing my love for yoga and practice I hope to continue inspiring and encouraging others to give yoga a chance, start their own journey or explore and evolve in their existing journey.

Vinyasa commonly referred to as “Flow” is a style of yoga that links movement and breath to attain balance in the mind and body. It can also be translated as “Arranging something in a special way”.

My classes invites yogis of all levels, ages, shapes and sizes. I often ask practitioners to think of yoga as dancing. Practice with a sense of playfulness, allowing the body to mindfully and ever so gracefully transition through poses with ease. Mindfully linking each breathe with each movement to give you a balanced experience both physically and mentally. I create a safe space by keeping it slow and seamless. Inviting physical awareness and correct alignment into practice to avoid injuries.

Come share in this yoga journey together and let’s flow gracefully to a sound body and mind.

Love and Light.
